What SnapTik IG Does
SnapTik IG is a free online tool that lets you save Instagram Reels, videos, photos and carousel posts to your phone, tablet or computer. You copy the link of a public Instagram post, paste it into the box on our homepage, and the tool finds the media files so you can download them. There is nothing to install and no app to sign up for. It works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux.
Who It Is For
SnapTik IG is built for everyday people who want an offline copy of content they are allowed to keep. That includes creators backing up their own Reels, small business owners saving their own product photos, teachers and students keeping a lesson clip for offline viewing, and anyone who wants to watch a video later without a connection. If you have ever lost a post you made, or wanted to re-share your own work on another platform, this tool is for you.
Public Posts Only, No Login Needed
The tool only works with posts from public Instagram accounts. It cannot open private accounts, stories from private profiles, or anything that requires you to be logged in. We will never ask for your Instagram username or password, and you should never give them to any downloader website. If a site asks you to log in to download a Reel, close it.
An Independent Tool
SnapTik IG is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Instagram, Meta, TikTok, ByteDance, SnapTik or Snapinsta. All trademarks belong to their respective owners and are mentioned only to describe what the tool works with.
Use It Responsibly
Please only download your own content or content you have permission to use, and respect the rights of the people who created it. If you have questions or feedback, visit our Contact page. We read every message and use your suggestions to keep the tool simple, fast and free.
